Camp Cedars 2013 Summer Camp Reservation

Your reservation is not secured until a $100 reservation deposit has been received.

The Unit understands and agrees that:

  1. Acceptance of your $100 secures your choice of sessions at camp for the number of Scouts and leaders indicated below. You need to advise camp of changes to this number as soon as you are aware of any.
  2. The $100 reservation fee is NOT refundable or transferable if the unit fails to attend camp. It is applied toward the fees for Scouts and leaders who come to camp. This fee is NOT refundable or transferable in the event of troop non-attendance.
  3. Two qualified adult leaders, one of whom is at least 21 years of age, the second leader at least 18 years of age, will be in attendance with each troop at all times during the entire period that the troop is in camp.
  4. While it is possible to request sharing a campsite with a specific troop, both units must so request and make their reservations at the same time. This does not absolve each unit of their responsibility to provide two-deep leadership. Both units must submit a reservation form and the $100 reservation fee.
  5. Health and accident insurance is an individual and parental responsibility and is not provided by the Mid-America Council as part of the camp fee.
  6. While every attempt will be made to honor a unit's campsite preferences, the administration reserves the right to change a unit's campsite assignment prior to arrival at camp. Any required campsite changes occur only when necessary to ensure that every unit has an adequate number of tents. Two or more units may be assigned to the same campsite.
  7. Current registrations and information about Summer Camp at Camp Cedars 2013 can be found online.
  8. For this reservation you must select five (5) different campsites in order of preference.
    • The following campsites have platforms & tents (campsite capacity): Seline (44), Arapaho (44), Rock (44), Four Eagles (46), Kiowa (42), Doc R (44), Mandan (48), Gratton (46), Haddix (46), Boyer (40), Hayes (48), Miller (24), and Berek (48).
    • Troops provide their own tents in the following campsites (campsite capacity): 3 Feathers (20), Heritage (25) & Getzschman-Heckman (25).
  9. The contact information to be provided should be the person in the unit who should receive Camp Cedars 2013 information.
